Mild and dry

What a winter we are having or is it still late fall? Fishing continues to be as good as it gets for this time of year. BWO's and midge are hatching mid day thru evening. Stoneflies are out and about as well. Fished the past four days and have found fish left and right. Feeding them has been the challenge. Most fish will only take micro midge patterns. The deadly combo has been a black stone, prince, tailed by a midge. A thingamabobber is necessary with all this weight since we are also putting on split shot in most pools. Remember these fish are sitting at the end of slow and deep tail outs! The head of the pool is no mans land.
