Oct. 26 2011 Striper and Bluefish migration

Good Afternoon this is willy with wednesdays fishing recap:
Peanut bunker are stacked just west of Captains Island. Stripers and blues are on it. Mostly small in size but this time of the year you never know. Clousers and peanut butter flies worked well. Remember not to much flash on your flies. Do not tie a Christmas tree!
Traveled to my secret false albacore spots with no action. All I can say is they are still here. Check out Orvis.com/news for a monster albie caught on CT shoreline this past saturday!
Last time I saw fat albert was 5 days back. Good news is with the atlantic herring and bay anchovies out east the bonito have returned (Irene sent them east). Should be interesting to see whether or not these fish come back west through the Long Island Sound.
